• Fairmark is a trust system for the AI age.

Fairmark is a trust system for the AI age.

As AI lowers the cost of imitation, automation, and synthetic participation, the internet is losing its ability to verify identity, creation, work, and reputation.

    Fairmark restores that trust.

    The Problem

The internet can no longer reliably answer four basic questions:

    • Who is real?
    • What was truly created?
    • What work was actually done?
    • What reputation has genuinely been earned?

AI makes creation easier but also makes attribution harder.

Existing systems like social profiles, copyrights, and platform reputation were not built for a world of autonomous agents and synthetic media.

    The Fairmark System

    Fairmark makes trust:

    visible

    portable

    economically meaningful

It is built on four core principles:

    • Fair identity — distinguish real humans from bots and impersonation
    • Authentic creation — prove authorship and origin
    • Intelligent work — verify what work was actually performed
    • Reputation — build trust through earned behavior over time

    The Fairmark Network

The Fairmark Network is where trusted things move.

If something meets the rules of the system, it can carry a Fairmark.

If it carries a Fairmark, it can be discovered, trusted, and transacted.

Trust becomes useful when it powers:

    • commerce
    • hiring
    • discovery
    • licensing
    • rewards

    Fairmark

    Fairmark is the trust mark.

It is a visible and machine-readable signal that something has been verified under the rules of the Fairmark Network.

    People can say:

    • “Did you Fairmark it?”
    • “This has the Fairmark.”

    A Fairmark can apply to:

    • a verified human
    • a photo, video, or creative work
    • a task or service
    • an AI-assisted output
    • a reputation level

    Trust Categories

Each Fairmark can represent one or more proofs:

    • Proof of Human (PoH) — a real, accountable person
    • Proof of Creation (PoC) — authorship and capture
    • Proof of Work (PoW) — verified task completion
    • Proof of Reputation (PoR) — earned trust over time

    Fairmark Camera (FairCam)

    FairCam is the proof-of-creation camera.

It allows creators to capture photos and videos with:

    • timestamp
    • location
    • capture context
    • optional identity linkage

This creates a stronger claim of authorship in the moment of creation.

Content captured with FairCam can carry a Fairmark and be trusted, verified, and transacted across the network.

    How It Works

    Creator → Network

    1. Capture content using FairCam or another approved workflow
    2. Verify under Fairmark rules
    3. Receive a Fairmark
    4. Publish, license, or sell through the network

    Human → Work

    1. Verify identity
    2. Earn a Fairmark status
    3. Offer work or services
    4. Build reputation through verified outcomes

    AI Agents → Trusted Output

    1. Agents are linked to responsible humans or governance
    2. Outputs are evaluated under Fairmark rules
    3. Verified outputs can be trusted, bought, or rewarded

    What the Network Supports

    • Verified creators and services
    • Trusted media (photos, video, music, writing, code)
    • AI agents and hybrid workflows
    • Licenses and access rights
    • Provenance-backed goods

    FAIR and Fairnomics

FAIR is the economic layer of the Fairmark Network.

    It powers:

    • payments
    • rewards
    • access
    • staking
    • incentives

FAIR is the economic incentive layer that maintains trust across the Fairmark Network. Built on Base.

Fairnomics is the open, community-first model that governs how FAIR is issued, earned, and aligned with long-term builders.

    System Roles

    • Fairmark shows what can be trusted
    • FAIR powers how trusted things transact
    • Fairnomics governs how value flows

    Governance

The Fairmark Network is stewarded by a mission-aligned entity responsible for:

    • standards
    • doctrine
    • naming and structure
    • long-term credibility

The goal is not centralized control, but consistent trust across an open system.

    The Future

As AI reshapes the internet, trust becomes the missing layer.

    FairCam makes trust obtainable.

    Fairmark makes trust visible.

    FAIR makes trust valuable.

Together, they form a new foundation for identity, creation, work, and reputation in the AI age.
